Ok can anyone figure this out, im really p!ssed off at the moment. I took over as England manager just before Euro 2008, i won the tournament and the board and fans were only "satisfied" when i checked national team confidence.

I have now qualified for the next world cup by finishing top of the group. Surely not bad for a England manager?.

Then in 2009 i got to the Confederations Cup final and lost to Brazil, no shame in that is there?.

Next thing i know 2 days after the final, I got sacked as England manager!!!.

How pathetic is that?. Not only did i win Euro 2008, i also qualified for the World cup and got to the Confederations cup final. If anyone has a reasonable explaination for this id love to hear it.

Surely Euro 2008, world cup qualification and a final of a ENGLAND TEAM, not a Brazil team should be enough to keep my job.

Well, you must be unlucky. I won the WC 2006, finished 4th in Confed Cup (and didnt get sacked) and won the Gold Cup. If you got sacked for finishing 2nd in Conf. Cup, then i can count myself lucky.(H) Plus i'm 2nd or 3rd only atm at the qualifying, although there's a lot of games to go and i stopped playing the game.

When I was Holland I lost in the final 1-0 to Brazil. When I was Brazil I lost 1-0 in the final to Holland.:crazyboy:

I didn't get sacked though. I usually resign at my top (after winning WC 2010 with Holland and after winning Gold Cup 2011 with Brazil)

Winning the Gold Cup isnt exactly... top.;) Not when your biggest rival to win it is USA or Mexico.
