Playsta600euroswhat??????? ;)

Now only lacks that games comes in 1080p, instead of 1080i, but i think that there´s not diference within this modes, interlaced can waste more your eyes may be...Anyway a big HD TV that supports 1080p is still very expensive.

Take care

Don't get too excited, there are not many display devices that support 1080p via VGA or component.

That´s the problem for the moment, that there´s a couple of HD TV that uses really 1080p and are really, really expensive (within 4000 and 6000 euros, leaving the image quality aside, and the fact that most of them are only dispossables in some countries, i think that for the moment the only availables are the Westinghouse, Sceptre, etc, american models), may be some pc monitors that can support it. There´s only one FULL HD TV that i saw, 1080p, but sure, the price is abussive 6.200€...pffff.....

Anyway games are not made for the moment in 1080p (indeed i tested a few games in 720p and 1080i and i didnt notice diference, i guess that is minimum, but im not sure, so 1080p may be is not a big diference) but that thing is that we have 1080p now, and is great, overall for people that have a 1080p Big HDTV and when games will come at 1080p, because MS saids that it will be ready for begginings of 2007, and we have it now. Strange thing from MS, but, well.....

Let´s see if they continue deeper on 720p until his limits, making better games,or they try to make it on 1080p. Im not sure but i think that Lost Planet will comes at 1080p.

I have a HDTV with VGA that actually does support 1080p, I just checked. Roll on 1080p games!

Also, (if anyone is as nerdy as me and actually tried this) does anyone find it strange that the picture quality through VGA is actually superior to that of component HD?

Which leads me to believe that HDTV is actually one big massive scam and you would be much better off sticking with VGA and buying a big monitor than buying an over-priced HDTV. :jambo:

When you mean VGA instead of component, you mean the red/yellow/white cables on a euroconector adapter and then on tv??? I have it putted by component, i didnt try other option, but if it looks better of other way, that´s cool.

Take care
