Xbox wot I think

Right then, lets be frank. The game has it's moments, pleasant to play for the best part and excellent presentaion. It's great to see many more leagues and teams have been added and that was the major factor for me giving it a try.
But... and it's a big BUT... the graphics for this game on the Xbox are absolutely terrible. Shimmery players via composite lead that blur if you switch to RGB mode. Fifa 2001 looks better on my PC!
I'd been playing for an hour or so when the missus returned home from work. She generally takes no notice of games, but today she took one look at the screen and said "How can you play that, those graphics are blurry crap!" I couldn't argue, and that says it all really.
Not sure about the passing in this game either, it'a a bit hit and miss really. And one final dislike is the triangle above the players head. What was wrong with the circle around the players feet?
All in all I have more reasons to take it back than to keep it.

Better luck next year EA. Law of averages say you'll get it right one day.

That's probably a good idea. I have read the graphics are better on the PS2.
But I gotta say that with PES3, and TIF2004 on the way, I can't justify three footy games for PS2.
Specially as I feel Fifa is in third place to the other two.

i dont agree wit you on most aspects.

the graphics are superb!!!

i've owned the past 4 fifa's and the passing is better than ever. its realistic for once.

i owned past versions all on my PC's, bought fifa 2004 on xbox and im more impressed than previous years.

audio is amazin, it flows unlike previous versions. e.g. when you score motty carries on with imput from ally.

there is also a more realistic atmosphere when you score a goal.

only downside 4 me is editing the game

but if that isnt essential 4 you i really recommed xbox.

Well that just goes to show you different folks see different things.

Yep the game does flow quite well, and I totally agree that the comentary is fine, and I'm even finding the passing is getting better the more I play, but the graphics, well no I just don't like them.
I can't comment on previous xbox fifa's, but even if they were worse, that don't make 2004's good.
They really good be a hell of a lot better in my book.
I think they are especially bad when the screen is zoomed out.
But there you go.
