Yellow cross question

Does anyone know if it`s possible to either remove/edit or make the Yellow cross less visible in FIFA 11 ? I understand it`s an indicator to the where the ball is travelling,but i`m not entirely sure it`s needed becuuse the ball shadow and AI are perfectly adequate to determine the balls direction.

use textmod to locate the texture, get the texture size, create something less visible, create a tpf file for it & import it.
