Well, I don't want to sound too certain, since I do not use Boot Raptor. But I do know what .dbi files are all about.

When i try to run boot raptor, i got this error message:

run-time error 9:
subscript out of range

then it crashes b4 the database can load :(

if this is a fault with the database, which file is it i need to replace??

You need to replace the players.ini file, copy it from the original cd to your datafolder. I had the same problem but after I did this it worked again so you don't need to uninstall any Raptor!! :o
If that doesn't work, copy the fcdb.dbi fro your original Fifacd to your data/cmn/fe folder
One of them should work but after this you have to assign everything allover again in bootraptor, faceraptor and Kitraptor.
I had no choice in the matter but I got it back on track now :)

thanx for the info.
actually, i discovered that a player with id '0' had been accidentally added onto the end of the file! as soon as i deleted this player from the ini, boot raptor started working again :)

ledgie, i couldn't find it either. luckily i didn't need it though. maybe u should try lookin at the content of the ini to see if there is anything wrong there...

I tried what silencer said to fix that same problem, and it didn't work. The player.ini file does not exist on my cd2, and the second suggestion did not work successfully either (however I appreciate silencer's suggestions) How can I get this program to work? Should I try reinstalling fifa?

Actually Coleen the pointers were given to me by Ariel through ICQ and it worked like a charm, no need to reinstall Fifa though.
Just uninstall and reinstall the Raptors, that should do it ;)

I guess that didn't work, and neither did reinstalling fifa. It's kind of nerve wrecking because I was able to use the Bootraptor once and it worked fine, then I closed it and opened it back up again and it didn't work. Now none of the programs I have downloaded regarding fifa do not work.

Yes, thanks for the grammar correction, I didn't re-read what I had said. I have already tried that, because I didn't reinstall kitraptor (i don't use it thatmuch anyway). For some reason, boot raptor still does not work. I've been thinking maybe I should use system restore to get back to my normal settings. Would that work?

Finally! I fixed it!!! All I had to do was reinstall the raptor into a DIFFERENT directory other than fifa.

Yeah, that was my problem. The raptor is still buggy though. For example, the default boot in the game is different then the one in my raptor (and yes I am using the program correctly). Sometimes a player will have a boot that wasn't even assigned to him. It's quite odd but I'm happy with what I can get.

What do you mean? Actually I put the boot files in the same directory as the raptor, so I was assuming that would not be a problem.
