I play fifa 05 pretty much every day in my mates house. its a huge improvement over fifa 04. I love the fact you can dribble by players one on one and even though the stepovers are a ******* joke(they look nothing like stepovers) and the fact that most tricks have been simply incorporated from pes 3(the flick the ball up, flicking the ball over your head) it is a good laugh to get by someone doing it(not because it looks good, but because it is good fun).
Having said all that, fifa 2005(i play it on my mates xbox) is a hopelessly **** ridiculosly restrictive game with nothing appealing really. I only play it cos my mate has it and loves it so i make an effort to get good at it. I think the players look nothing like there real life counterparts in the majority of cases. I much prefer the way pro evo get them to look and they all run the same way. When players are running, it looks like they are walking, they hardly move. This pisses me off. There is like no pace to the game. Also, set pieces and corners are ****. I have often lost 2 - 0 due to ****ty corners being given away and if it was pro evo, it would still be 0 - 0 and really close. But with the fifa free kick thing, its piss to score and same with corners. Overall, Pro Evo series is the game for me. Oh ye, I play the pc version. I do not think much of the ps2 graphics at all anymore.

In pes4 you can be turned in to : the player , the trainer and the president of a club, you can fell the game , suffer like you are there, have the feeling of releafe when you score a goal, talk with friends about that tackle,that goal, like you´ve been seeing a game on tv . pes4 it´s for the real football lovers . In fifa you play with all that existes in the real game but misses the feeling of the real thing. But we have to respect the two games and the people who like them , and in my opinion the pes its for european players who like to feel the real thing and fifa for us players who like many action and licenses, this in the majority off the cases off course.

read any reviews my man....and you'll know the true answer....stop lying to yourself....FIFA is a crap game.....no where near as good as....PES series......if you keep lying to yourself...im pretty sure no one will care mate.....

Well, i gave FIFA a chance (got it from a friend) and I have to say it's decent, players seem to move pretty realistic, passing is ok, tackling too, shooting still is bad though, there's one very bad thing though, every player still feels the same, and all the goals I score look the same and feel the same (my left winger always makes exactly the same cross, my striker heads it exactly the same and the goalie dives exactly the same in example.) This is something PES doesn't have. That's why FIFA is nice for 1 week and PES for a whole season.

All in all, pretty much all sports games are boring if your not playing with a few friends, playing against the computer get to predictable. Sorry but thats my feeling on the game and yea just play whatever game you like plain and simple. You guys complain back and forth about which game is better like 10yr olds why I just dont know. If you hate Fifa fine dont play it, if you hate PES fine dont play it. people its very very easy why complain just stop buying there games. Put down the controller and pick up a ball, thats where the real game begins.
