Commentators, those who add the soundtrack to the defining moments of the beautiful game - As much as anyone can remember a stunning goal - or a sublime bit of skill, 9 times out of 10 they remember the words that described it.

So this thread is about your favourite - and most iconic commentary moments.

Here's mine:

May 26th 1999 - Manchester United's amazing comeback in the European Champions League Final:

Clive Tyldesley: "Corner in from Beckham, in towards Sheringham .. AND SOLSKJAER HAS WON IT!, Manchester United have reached the promised land!"

FA Cup Semi final - Villa Park 1999, Man Utd V Arsenal Ryan Giggs' wonder goal.

When the Italians won, the commentators went off their head shouting "ANDIAMO A BERLINO, ANDIAMO A BERLINO", etc.
Translation: We're going to Berlin.
Was hilarious at the time.
