I don't think he's THE best player so far - hard to gauge since I've only seen him in one game, but against Yugoslavia he was absolutely magic.

I hope he ends up being the best player so Olympiakos can get some of the money back they spent on that bastard. I feel sorry for the team that ends up signing him.

It's a long story.We were all excited to hear that Zahovic was comeing to Olympiakos,but then the nightmare started.He was so overconfident,he was bashing the Greek League,Olympiakos and the players.He didn't really want to come to us,he only came for the money,then our former coach (Alberto Bigon) Subed him in a game and he exploded! The funny thing is the sub that came on (Alexandris) tied the game so obviously it was the right move.Anyway I can't explain everything that happened there's just not enough time but in all Zahovic is one of the most unprofessianal babys I have ever seen!!!

Pavlin and (Ruvovic?) (i don't know how to spell his name, but he plays as a winger)
are very good playes who play for Slovenia. I think they are both better than Zahovic.
by the way, Spain are soooo over-rated, i hope yugoslavia show them how to play exciting football. Raul misses a lot of chanches, morintenes is better than him.
Abelardo is absolute pants, no wonder Van Gaal had to buy dutch defenders at Barca

I saw the Spain-Slovenia game today and I have to agree Zahovic is probably the best player of the tournament so far. This man will definitely get many offers from top clubs if he hasn't already.

Yes I saw the slovanian goal too. But something else that I saw too didn't surprise me at all. When the goal was scored all the players rejoiced but Zahovic went his own way. This player if he could he would change his national team for fame and fortune. He isn't worth a penny that Olympiakos forked over to Porto for him. But that dumb ass made one big mistake. He forgot he was dealling with the smartest and possible the richest guy alive. Socrates Kokkalis. Zahovic isn't making a single penny now cause he has been suspended. And he wont unless a team comes up with the money Oly spent on him. Kokkalis has vowed he wont play soccer for the remainder of his for year contract unless someone else forks over the money for him. But you see Zahovic is mentaly chalenged. Fiorentina wants him and so does Tottenham. But he says those teams arent in the big leagues and not competitive. What a dumb ass. Why would a championship team want him? They already have what the need. You see Zahovic can only shine with the Ronaldos and Baggios beside him. Otherwise hes trash like his personality. We should ask him if he want's the champions league cup delivered to is front door step. In this case all he will have to do is get out of his bed. I'm sorry ta the slovanians out there. This has nothing to do with them but only my opinion on Zahovic regardless if hes Slovanian, italian, Greek or whatever. Unfortunatelly there are many Zahovic like players surfacing and causing a stir lately aka Anelka. I belive Arsenal fans feel the same way about him to.

Only one thing is true..he went to Olypiakos because of $$$ but he said he'll never do the same mistake again.
There were things happening there you'll never know because your sport newspapers etc are not objective.The ones olypiakos fans read just write what Kokkalis wants.
The truth is.. both sides were guilty..Zahovic and Olypiakos.

Hehehhe. If he goes to MUFC he wont be able to crack the bench, forget the starting lineup. BTW BlackDawn were do you come up with this stuff that the papers we read are not objective. For cying out loud players like Giovanni want to play at Oly for the rest of there carrers and these guys outclass Zahovic. This year well see a good due with Giovanni and Ze Elias, also you can add in Zetterberg into that equation.
This morning on the radio a couple of Oly players were interviewed and they said that even if Zahovic came begging back thay would not want to play with him.

Zahovic is a good player, for a pretty awful team. As if he would get in the MAN U TEAM he might just scrape in at CHARLTON and by this i mean the Bobby Charlton soccer school.
