Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 - PSP

Written by Dan Bolas on Sunday, 24 October 201031 Comments

In a story which is almost as ironic as it is poetic, I have received the review copy of PES 2011 for PSP only to find that my PSP has stopped working! The game, which I believe has received a weeks delay, is due for UK Release now on the 29th October (source Play.com) and acts as a tidy alternative to the PS3 and 360 version of Pro Evolution Soccer whilst out on the go.

Like its big brother, the game features the new ‘player power bars’ which have been met by a mainlky positive response from fans of the series, and will feature the UEFA Champions League and Copa Liberatores as licensed game modes, along with the much loved Master League gaming option. I hope to get a review up on the site in one form or another within the next few days, and if not I will provide a couple of links to sites that have been able to experience the game first hand. However, from a personal point of view, if you like PES and have a PSP, this one is a bit of a no brainer!

    It’s one of the crappiest PES ever!! the movement is too light and the game feels too fast..like it’s in a fast forward mode.

    the player feels like paper. the ball bounces around like shit (it was probably jabulani ball XD )

    and one of the worst? the seasons has started all over the world…and the transfer has not yet been renewed…i mean..what’s the holdup then? why can’t you release the game earlier when all you do is sitting around on your butt using toothpick to clean your teeth?

    there is the commentary
    but the game is very slow when there are many players concetrated in a little part of the pitch
    unplayable!

    @Bruno & @Ed
    One saying the game too fast the other saying too slow…
    Personally i have the game.. its the best for the psp thus far. (graphics, commentary, game-play, interface). Increase the CPU if u find the game is slow to 333 and upgrade psp firmware..its 2010 u sud not b using 5.00m33 with games built for 5.50gen and 6.20 firmware. Comparing PES & FIFA for psp u will know why PES is more enjoyable,realistic and just damn better.
