FIFA 15 3D Model Importer/Exporter

Hey everyone

i am creating this (new) topic in order to present the new version of the tool






For more information check the website http://3dgamedevblog.com.

For now i've fixed:
  • New bone index size affecting nearly all models
  • Added support for the new normal map compression
  • Updated the layout

--FIFA 15 Releases--

FIFA 15 3D IE v0.65a

Features:
  • Full Model/Texture Import Support for FIFA 14/15 (Experimental FIFA 13 Stadium support)
  • Brand new Face Editing Mode for easier facemaking
  • Maintained the General Overwriting mode for simple model editing
  • Export Support for trophy and ball models
  • Requires Blender 2.71
  • Stadium exporting functions DO NOT WORK for now.

Do you think it could be possible to adapt or convert the models from 14
, since they look almost identical, despite the differences in the bones?

i've not looked at it yet, but shawminator informed me that nothing important has changed so i am confident that the crowd will be no big deal to implement

I am pessimistic about this.

A fifa 14 face will need to be rewritten with the correct bone index size this time. This means that every single vertex entry in the file has to be rewritten and will take up more space that last year.

Although that rewriting this is the easiest to do, some sections need to be modified to contain that section size change and EVEN IF THAT ALSO WORKS, 99% there are going to be problems with the bones in game, because of the expressions that are not going to be applicable on the older models...

So either this whole process is made and you still have to do something like moddingway did last year and converted faces from fifa 13 without animations, or you simply remodel a fifa 15 face.

I think the 2nd one is the easiest one to do :P

its so sad that we cant use fifa 14 faces for fifa 15, a lot of classic faces and awesome face need to rework i would rather dont have the animation to get fifa 14 faces to work. Any help would be appreciate for the community !!!
