Now is the pitch-perfect time for all you FIFA™ fanatics of all skill levels to battle for a spot into a 128-player tournament to be run on both Xbox 360 and PS3. Each console leaderboard will allow you to qualify for a $5,000 prize pool! Here’s how you can play for a share of the money:

Between July 6th and August 8th, 2010, eligible Virgin Gaming members will earn tokens for completing head-to-head (H2H) matches and tournaments. Tokens are awarded by the following schedule for completing any FIFA™ Head 2 Head game or Tournament:

* For each H2H game or Tournament you complete you’ll get 1 Token
* Complete five H2H games in one week and get 5 Bonus Tokens
* Complete ten H2H games in one week and get 10 Bonus Tokens
* Participate in five completed Tournaments in one week and get 5 Bonus Tokens
* Participate in ten completed Tournaments in one week and get 10 Bonus Tokens

Leaderboard Payout
The top 256 players from each console (Xbox 360 and PS3) with the most tokens on August 8th will each receive $10 FREE Cash Bonus into their Virgin Gaming account.

Tournament Details and Payout
The top 128 players from each console (Xbox 360 and PS3) will then receive free entry into an invite only 128 Player FIFA Tournament for the console in which you qualified on at Virgin Gaming with dates and times to be announced prior to August 8th. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 Tournaments will each have a guaranteed jackpot of $2,500. So put on the cleats, start earning tokens today, and make this a Red Hot Summer to remember.

Please note that leaderboards are NOT updated in real time. Leaderboards will be updated daily starting Thursday, July 8th, and will reflect your most recent increase in tokens.
