I've been making kits for FIFA games for a long time - in fact my first venture into FIFA editing was way back in 1998 when I did mods for FIFA RTWC '98. I did try posting on here before a while ago but my old account I had at the time didn't work, but anyhow, I prefer to make retro kits as, well, let's face it, there's plenty of people who make existing kits and with retro being popular with fans and some great classic patches out there, I thought I'd share my efforts.
Please note that I don't take requests, I have a life outside of FIFA editing - besides from years gone by when I was first on these forums (20+ years ago) I used to get pestered to hell by people... so please, don't ask me. Also if you wish to use my work in your patches, feel free - just give me a credit, but I strictly forbid use of my work in paid patches. Modern day FIFA/EAFC patches asking you to pay is the absolute devil in my view, whatever happened to the old community spirit eh?
Some of the shorts/socks sets I use appear to have stretched logos so that they'll fit properly with shorter shorts body models - I use the ones from the Classic Patch 16 which work perfectly and don't have the strange 3D artefacts with the subs warming up on the sidelines.
Over time I'll try and find somewhere to upload my RX3 files and also include fonts/numbers where possible. I am in the process of doing my own website showcasing my work but as external self-promotion is forbidden on here I'll post my stuff as normal, my website link will be in my profile signature eventually when it's done.
I don't really have the time to do minikits, so if you're a minikit maker and want to do minikits for me, then let me know - would be much appreciated!
First up...
WALES KITS 1987-89
Switched to Hummel in 1987, lovely set of kits, really should have been at Euro '88... ah well.
Home, away and third kits use collar 8
Third kit was a one-off - white shirt, red shorts, white socks, worn at the Netherlands in 1989
Goalkeepers use collar 9 - navy shorts/socks used for both green and sky blue shirt options.
