You should hate Vasco da Gama instead :P I have nothing against Botafogo, in fact if I wasn't Flamenguista I'd support the Glorioso. The way I see it they're rivals with a good relationship, healthy rivalry. Unlike the folks from São Januário.

My family supports Vasco mostly, just my father and I are supporters of Botafogo. So, I grew up not hating Vasco at all. And recently, Flamengo has been our biggest rival, and not in a very good way, for me. Vasco and Flamengo are big rivals since ever, and we all know that rivalry, I think it's the biggest one in Rio.
