Hello to everyone. Thank you for all comments, solutions, etc.
Asap I'll reply to generic questions. Please read couple of informations in sg forum because it's like Fifa Moddings University.

For somebody it's hard to understand what the priorities are now.

In the fact I'm working to a new little but very useful tool:
FIFA 18 FROSTY LAUNCHER 0.1 (FL) it's an alternative to FMM.
Check in the video (full hd):
when the game start all mods are enabled and perfectly working in game (require to be already generated the ModData folder or just wait for some other tips).
So for example is now possible to share an already patched ModData folder with a couple of mods enabled in,
just copy the ModData folder in main game folder, start game with launcher, done with all mods enabled.
It's like return to legacy mods with already generated files to put in game folder.
The ModData will be unique, for example if I'll share my ModData folder with all my Frosty mods included in
you must use only this ModData to properly play the game.
In this way all FMM issues with mod's merging, apply, launch game will be skipped and you will be able to run modded game.

You don't need the Converter anymore. Edit the db using the Frosty Editor, exact same process: use DBM and Excel, open the players table and edit the bodytypecode value. Easy and less complicated.

I'll try that when I get home. But how can I run Fidel's mods via FrostyModManager and at the same time use my own edits via FrostyEditor?.

I don't know if Fidel wants to allow people to edit his mods and db, but that would be the obvious 1st option -- edit the body codes in his mod. Personally, I think mods should be locked so as to prevent others from passing them off as their own. But that's up to the mod creators of course.

I don't know how many mods you can run at one time. But you can certainly create your own db mod (I did); call it dbproject and run using Frosty. Will it conflict with any other mods you are using? I do not know, I have not tested any of that.

Well, Fidel is releasing his mods for Mod Manager, not the Editor. So the database is not editable. Or at least, I don't know how to edit a bundled database from Mod Manager to Editor.

My question is actually the following: Both tools (Frosty Mod Manager AND Frosty Editor) have a button to launch FIFA from within the tool WITH the modified files in effect. So, if I edit the database in Frosty Editor AND LAUNCH FIFA FROM IT, even if I had Frosty Mod Manager opened and with mods imported, it wouldn't work. The only files that will be loaded ingame are the ones from the tool I clicked "Launch" on.

So for now we are either stuck at doing stuff from Frosty Editor or importing packs in the Mod Manager. Seems you can't have mods from the two tools loaded ingame at the same time.

Sorry can't help. Every year I edit one thing only: the database. So I'm using one Frosty db mod and launching it via the editor. I don't care about adding kits, boots, faces, stadiums, extra leagues and teams, and all the rest. It's more than enough work for the year to get the 18000 players in the game rated properly so as to create something resembling realistic football, that's all I care about lol.

LOL yeah you are right.
I'm going to try to modify the bodytypecode in Frosty Editor, save changes, export it as .fbmod and import it in FrostyModManager along with Fidel's pack and see what happens.

Something to try: use Fidel's mod to create a squads file. Then edit the bodytypecode values in the squads file using the Converter method (my tutorial). Probably won't work, will read as corrupted when firing up Fidel's mod, but who knows.

Yeah I thought about it. But the Squads method is kind of tricky. Or maybe I'm just too lazy for that nowadays. I'm looking for the easy way out I reckon.

Is there a way to use just unlock features instead of using with AGPE,

Actually i want to learn, when i install main database unlock mode, current squads corrupted, so when i try to update it manually with latest transfers it says corrupted again. When i try to officially update squads, again corrupted. What can i do to play with latest squad file ?

Is AGPE causing this error ? or Unlock options causing to corrupt squads file ?

I've already try to use my squad with Fidel's mods and that doesn't work, specially if i use it with the main database unlock mod : either fidel's main data unlock appears in-game or it is my squad file, depending on which was loaded the first. The only way i found until now to make them work together is to combine my squad with one of Fidel's one (default-sim-immersive), create a new squad file using Squad Converter then load it in-game so i can have the features of Fidel's main database unlock and the change i made for my db too.

As i said in my previous post, it is only possible (depending on my test) by using one of the squad file Fidel provided with his pack mods. For example, i used his default squad as a base to add hidden players. So i could keep all the features of the main database unlock mod with my modifications without issues since Fidel's squads are compatible with his mods. The issue i found is that i can't add new boots or something else that need the extra tables of the vanilla db, since it may be used by Fidel's mod...

Federico, use cheat engine, install it, download latest CE table by Aranaktu and you can edit body types no problem and a lot of other stuff, you'll see.(name, position, hair, etc)
Also it does not conflict with Fidel's mods since it does not use any of frosty editor tools and it's a nice adition overall.
I'm using it for two years with no problem.
