I have been looking for a solution to a problem that has bothered me for almost 7 years. I would like to block initial teams in tournaments, look like DB. I want it to be kept starting 11, as it was for FIFA 10. If a strong player is on the bench by technical choice, the CPU should not make me the owner just because he is stronger than the others in the team in his role. Any idea? solution?

I am not sure if i understood you right but i think the problem is that the teams changed the starting 11 during the tournaments.
for example mustafi played so which formation do you choose? or will you automatically take the best players?
honestly i would prefer if each player could choose his own formation.
i think also that the game could crash if the player you put in the blocked starting formation is for any reason not able to play.
if i will make sure that the players from database are surely in the starting 11 i save database with cm and choose all the teams when playing the tournament.
you can simulate the games you don't wamt to play.

I'm talking about the teams used by the CPU. They do not respect the DB. Players change based on GEN, or role. While it is known that often for technical or disciplinary choices an important player has not played a lot in that team or outside his usual position.
Example.
WC 1970. Italy. GK. Albertosi and Zoff.
Zoff was much stronger than Albertosi. But the coach of Italy preferred Albertosi. Ok.
in the DB Albertosi is in the initial 11. Zoff on the bench. As in reality.
FIFA 14 instead puts Zoff in the starting 11 and Albertosi on the bench in tournaments! That's no good!
I would like to block the formations used by the CPU in tournaments.
Other Exemple
As if I created Inter 2018-19 and put Icardi out the bench. But in tournaments the CPU puts he in the initial 11. We all know that Icardi played midseason for disciplinary reasons and that he was Inter's strongest striker. It is absolutely not good!

I could try to add replay match. But if to make it usable I had to fix all the stadium set manually I think I won't be able to do it. I should set again every stadium for every world Cup and Euro Cup manually.
