    Had the same problem, but you must use the gamepad buttons when selecting the teams to practice with, not the keyboard or mouse.

    I found the firestorm too big and uncomfortable, also the analog sticks seem inaccurate. I agree with Kibble, get a dualshock 2 pad and an adapter.

    Thank you so much for that tip Ballesteros! I use the rockfire adapter and a dualshock pad and was getting mighty annoyed with the difficulty to move diagonally, but now it works great:)

    Here's a tip for those who are having problems using the autopatch function. Go to EA's FTP ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/easports/patches/fifa2004/pc/ and choose your language version (I have only tried this for the EN-UK version). Download the files in that folder. You won't need all the html files...
