    ditto, i have a SmartJoy ps2 to usb adapter...it works with every other damn game on the planet, except fifa05

    afraid so... yeah, i can't configure my controller either... I use a SmartJoy PS/PS2 to USB controller. Funny thing: it works perfectly with every other game (including other EA games)--just not this one!!! It seems as though every year I end up with some sort of a controller...
