    Two more resolutions for PES2008 Demo!

    I can't seem to run the demo without major slo-mo kicking in almost immediately, on a 3.2GHz P4/Nvidia 7600GS/2GHz Ram running Vista. Can anyone else run it decently with a similar spec?

    The Header techniqs

    Yup - pressing R2 when the ball is in the air allows you to move the player around. You can use it when defending corners to get in front of the attacker as well, or even to lean on them a bit to put them off.

    Patches

    Well I've got Superpatch 2 installed and haven't had any problems yet. I feel it does make the game seem to go quicker than the default, a bit too much so, so I am experimenting with tweaking some attributes downwards to try to make it seem a more natural pace. But otherwise, no problems at all.

    I just got the game this morning and am downloading the superpatch now. I'm connected to 14 seeds, and 44 leeches with nearly 13 distributed copies between them. Downloading at about 50kB/s. What's the problem?

    Through ball in PES 5 (demo)

    The lofted through ball, on the other hand, isn't easy. It seems to be way over strength most of the time and straight through to the keeper. Of course that could be down to my ham-fisted attempts at using it. :)

    Free Kicks

    The Square button is actually height for a free kick isn't it? So, R1, R2, D-pad up and D-pad down for different variations to the power, Square for the height (about half way on the guage usually needed to clear the wall) , D-Pad left and right for curl.
