    Logitech gamepad and shift

    I started using Logitech dual action gamepad instead of the keyboard and now I'm wondering where's the shift key on the pad? Anyone else have that same pad? I can't go freestyle as I can't configure that from E2k4 itself, i.e. in the controller configuration freestyle is not an option...

    I haven't learned to use freestyle yet. :) The commentary is... well I've grown tired to John Motson, as he's been there at least from FIFA 96. Besides, he can't even pronounce Joaquin (from Spain) right. And *my* goalkeeper doesn't "go down" on anything or anyone in the pitch. =) And...

    Keyboard or gamepad?

    I used to play with keyboard but getting the ball to the right direction was true pain, as there are only 8 directions with keyboard. Bought a Logitech dual action analog gamepad, took some time to get used to it, but now it's like an extension of my hand :D

    My Review on EURO 2004...

    I've played only FIFA 96 (!) and 2001 in the past and in comparison this one kicks ass, although it's a bit short as there is only one tournament. Annoying things: 1. Players are offside all the time. At best there can be two or three players just running like 5-10 meters behind the enemy...

    2 keepers?

    This happens because one or more players of your usual start-up roster is not available (injury, suspension etc). The game just throws the first player on the bench to fill the gap, and that's usually the goalie. To fix the problem, always check the team news screen for unavailable players...

    Directing the ball

    I find it very hard to control the direction of the ball when I pass or shoot it especially when I'm doing it in a rapid sequence. I've tried practise mode with only the goalie on the opposite side and it's still hard. And mostly my shots miss the goal unless I am just next to the penalty...
