A word on Fox Sports World-false advertising

Fox Sports World claim to show the likes of Ronaldo, Zidane, and Figo. They as we all know play for Real Madrid. But ESPN holds all english TV rights to any Spanish league games involving Real or Barcelona. In fact Fox Sports only has rights to one 3rd rate Spanish league game per week, they never even showed Sociadad play last season. This has to be a case of false advertisement. IMO Fox Sports is crap except for thier extended coverage of the EPL. What a bunch of BS eh!!!!

uhm... they dont claim to show ronaldo... they said they show spanish la liga games... the league where ronaldo, zidane and figo play... either way.. hope they get the rights.. because I hate ****en espn is a disgrace with soccer

I would have to see the commercial again but like you said, either way its BS. And yeah ESPN is a disgrace. Though they are going to launch ESPN Deportes in the US in 2004. But I swear they said they show those players on thier channel. Next time I'll post it quoted.

Maybe cause there are so many kids who think they know everything here?

I dont think its false advertising, but its not fair. Blame ESPN, they are the ones who choose not to show the top choice La Liga matches.

I only remember seeing one RM game on FSW, which was like around Oct. right around that time.

I cant wait for ESPN Deportes, hopefully it will be available on Dish Network

yeah I remember when Espn used to show more CL matches than 1 a week... and now that soccer is more popular in the states.. they show less cl games.. wtf??

I'm actually 26 but like I said I'll wait till I see the commercial again and quote it for you guys.

why isnt advertising like that fair? id do the same thing if i was in their shoes. dont you guys get to see madrid play enough in hte champions league once a week cause espn only shows them.

well false or not the commercial is working since a few of u said u were gonna watch the channel to see what the commercial says. They're getting u to tune in.

the only teams I havent seen in fsw this yr was barcelona, madrid and sociedad.. every other team I saw at least once

FSW Canada is showing the entire Real Madrid tour of asia! I believe only FSW Canada will be getting coverage of the tour. Good news for canadians.

Also on Sunday, FSW Canada is showing all of the best Manchester United games from the season. Only United games on that day

I don't know why Canada is getting all of this extra programming, there's no reason why the the american FSW can't get it.

Probably because some other company owns the rights for the tour. If Fox owned the rights for the USA Im sure they would show it.
