Aye loads of possibilities here. Celtic & Hibs both play in Green & White and used to play each other all the time with their home kits.

Man Utd vs Southampton (Man Utd in the grey shirts)

they didn't clash with Southampton, but apparently they clashed with the grass...

i'm a Man Utd fan and even i think that was a **** excuse!

I thought there was actually a rule made by FIFA that both teams shirts, shorts and socks must contrast in every way in order to let people who watch matches on black/white tv be able to recognise the teams.

So really Kit clashing should never occur.

The Legend
Either way.

Toon have the normal kit, then a black away.

Fulham have that White and black disaster for a home kit, and a black away kit.

The directive that FIFA give to top flyte National Leagues and International matches is that there should be a disdinct clarification of both teams if the match were to be viewed on a black & white television. That is basically why teams wear home shirts and away shorts and so forth.

Isac Costa

Youth Team
That happened in the Brazilian Championship 2003.

Remo vs Palmeiras (Jul 24) Remo wore Navy blue shirts and Palmerias wore Dark Green.

Also some matches of Juventude in the 1st Division.

regarding the shorts, they change them (also they change the socks)

example: wen Thierry Henry got a hat trick against Roma the had the Away top, and the Home shorts and socks
