Liverpool have arrived at Anfield without Michael Owen, and its an hour till kickoff - I guess he is out with injury? I bet you this leads to speculation in Monday's papers.

Ryan Giggs is just one championship medal away from becoming English football's leading title winner.
The Welsh winger has won eight titles in his time at United, and is tied with Alan Hansen, Phil Neal and Kenny Dalglish, who all registered their championships in Liverpool's glory days of the 1980's.

As he approaches his 30th birthday, Ryan told the Official United magazine he has a ninth title in his sights.

He said: "It's a big target for me. To win eight is great, but there are a few others on eight as well, all from Liverpool, so hopefully I can get to nine this season."

It looks likely that only Arsenal or Chelsea could feasibly pip United to the title and deny Ryan his record, but Giggs isn't ruling Liverpool out of the equation.

He said: "There may be a small gap between the top three teams and the rest at the moment, but no-one at United is thinking it's going to stay that way.

"At this stage, all you need to transform the look of the table is to put together a run of six or seven games and Liverpool have proved they're capable of that before.

"We still regard them as title contenders."

And another thing Giggs has learned in his time at United is just who the fans love to beat.

He said: "If you ask the fans, they will always want to beat Liverpool and, of course, City."
