Maybe this is a stupid thread... but always called my atention here in Spain when we scores we say ""GOOOOOOOOOOOOL!" and when we almost score we say "UYYYYYYYYY!", but in England people say something like "YEEEEEHH" when they scores right? and when his team almost scores they say "OHHHHHHHHH!!"

Is this something about countries, about languages?

what do you say when your team scores ? and when they almost score ? (say also your language/country :P)

In Portugal we pretty much the same thing as brazil with the post above rusi's, and if they miss we go "vai-te foder, Es pago para esta merda". Excuse me for this language.(H)

But when you miss on a close chance, its more like

"Sunnuva B****!!!!!!!"

That comes after repeating "GOOOOOL" about 20 times then the ripping off of the shirt the going insane and then the "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MOTHA ****AAAAAAAAAS!!!" :hump: I actually do the hump dance (H)

I like how Martin Tyler (EPL) goes "OHHHHH!" when someone scores a screamer.

Here in Malaysia it's "Goooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!" And then some really, really quick Malay stuff follows.
