Its almost sure Casillas will be starting.

Joaquin will be in the bench, Exteberria (Ath. Bilbao) will play instead

Personally i like Joaquin a lot, his dribblings, his speed, his skill,...

But what i hate Etxebarria latelly is perfomacing very well, so we wont se Joaquin playing many minutes

Joaquin is too selfish, he doesn't understand the word "team" and Etxeberria is not that bad.

Exteberria will be on the field..
he's in form these days. And Iñaki Saez wants him to play cos he's basque and Bilbaino, like Saez

Exteberria is so ******* awesome! I defenetely like him better than Joaquin. Dont get me wrong, Joaquin is aweome too.

I wouldn't take crusad3r's word for it. I'd wait for someone like Valioso


Canizares missed out in the World Cup due to that freak shaving cream accident so i see no reason why Casillas will start.

Again, im just reasoning it out.... hopefully some spanish guys will shed some unbiased light on this since i want to know as well.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. (with the Canizares accident)

And Canizares got #1 jersey.

If you can't tell yet, I dunno if I should get Casillas in my Fantasy team ... I'm not so sure about Holland anymore, so at the moment I've got Cech.

Exactly cause that my opinion is more important, since im a R.Madrid supporter.

Most of Ath.Bilbao supporters will say Etxebarria must play.

Most of Betis supporters will say Joaquin must play.

I know you me hate so much.

Saying i am a Real Madrid supporter i wanted to mean i dont care Joaquin or Etxebarria as players cause they are not in the team of mi city. I could say the same if i were a Barça or Valencia fan.

In other hand. I prefer Casillas to Cañizares, maybe cause i am a RM supporter.

My english is very bad, many times i wanna say what i think, but i write a thing completelly different, maybe you think i have no idea of football cause that.

Come on now, Crusader lives in Spain ? shouldnt he know ? .....

Crus is smart, take his word for it.

I think Exteberria is the better selection. He like someone else said I think is a team player. Though I would like to see Joaquin play.

Then with Casillas, I am probably biased. but I think that Casillas should definately be there. I don't get why Cañizares has the #1 shirt. Casillas only fault is coming out os long crosses to the top of the box where he has trouble sometimes.

i think Casillas should start. when to Cañizares got injured, Iker stepped up.

-Casillas is gonna start
-Etxeberria is gonna start

Although I prefer Joaquin to start, Joaquin is a diferent player with the NT and Spain gains a lot of deph with him

My starting lineup would be:


Casillas or Cañizares

Puyol......Marchena.....Helguera.....Capdevilla

Baraja.......Xabi Alonso

Joaquin............Valerón.............Vicente

Moritenes/Raúl

Casillas is the first keeper then Cañizarez then Aranzubia.

Etxeberria will play instead of Joaquín. Joaquín is more dangerous but Etxeberría works more so I'd do the same. Joaquín for the last 30 minutes is a bomb.

On the midfield the key player will be Albelda. DMC, his work is undervalued because he doesn't score usually but IMO it's the most important player there. It's the darker work that not everybody see but it's indispensable, gives freedom to the other players, brakes many counter-attacks, etc

Raúl will play because it is the untouchable but Valerón is miles over him and unfortunately R. Bravo will play instead of Capdevila.

Some substitutes are better than the players of the first line-up.
