Is this game worth buying?

I think it is, there is not much to do except play the tournament once, but I've just gotten into playing online. The gameplay is a big step up from FIFA 2004, it's woth the money.

If you are very interested in football, then yes.
If you think football as just a sport, then no.

The game is better then FIFA. Better graphics and gameplay.

The only thing I don't like is that the game is very short. But if you go online there will probably never be boring (I have never played online tho).

So yes. And if you don't like it, you could always return it. ;)

just two opinions, I'll post mine...

no, it isn't woth buying from my point of view
definitely you should play demo first, if you like it - then buy
if no - don't expect that full game is better - isn't

if you liked Fifa 2004 you will like euro 2k4 too

cheers ;)

The game is better than Fifa2k4 but doesn't really add enough to justify the price (as Mayor already mentioned). That's the point really, i.e, that the game is what Fifa2k4 should've been in terms of ball physics, AI (still weak but better than Fifa2k4), and special moves. The game should be $20, not $30 (PC) or $40 (PS2) since it only includes the tournament itself and some filler game modes.

ur not exactly going to get an unbiased opinion in a euro2004 forum, i always go to amazon.com when ever i want to see other peoples opinions. anyway i played it for a week now, is good but i donno i hate the way u cant dribble past players :kader:

Like Ive played a few games now, First thing I noticed and Kinda didnt like were the graphics... very bright and the kits just didnt look just right, to me Fifa 2004 looked better. The game itself played great just need to get used to it a little better but im having alot of fun with it, the AI deff seams better than in Fifa 04 and the ball physics etc.. were much better aswell. Now if youve played Fifa then you could pick it up and play it fairly well IMO but theres deff much more you could do with the controls, thats like I said I need more time with it to use all the controls fully but it was pretty easy to pick up and start playing.

The menues should of been a bit faster like in fifa 04 but to me its not a big deal. Commentary was good and was the crowd chants and all... Now I had second thoughts of buying it not because I didnt like fifa 04 just the fact that I already had it but since im portuguese I wanted a game with the stadiums in them so thats pretty much the only reason why I got it and for that I enjoy the game and well all in all not too many complaints on my part.... So thats really my take on the game so far, and for just owning it for about a week its great...

this game doesnt deserved to be bought but, it should be burned. its the worst game i ever played in my life, i played it for a few hours and its impossible to score. the ball never goes in to the goal, fifa 2004 its 1000000000 million times better than euro 2004

I wouldn't really buy this game NOW because isn't fifa 2005 supposed to be coming out soon? I'm just guessing. If it's not, then go for it, pretty fun game.

if euro 2004's engine is just like fifa 2004 then it should not be that hard. i tried scoring for two hours straight and no success
