I read once on an old thread that someone put Keane at GK after his GK was sent off and his sub were injured, and he keeped a PK, so, I guess it's not that bad :(

Well, in my Racing Cba. game, Instituto came second both Apertura & Clausura and is playing Libertadores and IRL they came 19/20 in Apertura

Strange things could happen always :p

Look at Everton or AZ. They weren't expected to do so well but yet it is. I'd say it's realistic.

I'm a bit dissapointed in the realism factor of results so far. I've only just started playing, but it's not looking good.

Example: Standard Liverpool side+Daniel Bierofka. 7 games played, 37 goals scored. The attachment shows my last game. 9 farkin' 0 for christ's sake.

Now, unless I have created a super-tactic, which is highly unlikely as I'm new to the game, then it's pretty flawed thus far.

"Biscan" and "hat-trick" in the same line of commentry was amusing though. :p

I started with PSV, and only won 1 match with more than 4-0, and that was against an amateur team in the cup.

I do win almost everything though :( 16 played, 15 won, 1 lost. I do notice when you get in 1 goal very early, you often win by much.

Another thing, always my team seems to be great at the start. But in the mid I start dropping a lot of points.

Here's the basic formation, though it won't be of much use to you as I've tinkered with just about everything in both the individual and team instructions.

Like you I rotate the squad to maintain fitness, but almost always use Stevie or Xabi Alonso in the centre of midfield as that position has a huge amount of creative freedom in my tactic.

yes, a creative mc is very important in FM. My most important player in my tactic. Much more important than on Cm03/04 etc. there I didnt even use a mc

No, my eyes are not complaining. My eyes don't speak as a rule. The day that I hear my eyes talking to me is the day that I start taking heavy doses of Lithium .......again. :p

Cheers, i always like looking for new ideas on different formations, i like to tinker with the player and team instructions to suit my teams needs tho, but ill try out that formation to see what its like. Did you spot my tactic in the main forum? I bet you've seen that formation somewhere (H)

hmmm.....yes,. Yes I do think that I may have seen something like that in the past somewhere.

I've actually downloaded it for a look, though I generally prefer to build my own as I feel it's a big part of the game and using someone else's tactic is generally less satisfying. I feel like I'm cheating a bit.

Mine has only been tested over nine games so far, but If you want to have a proper look I'll mail it to you, like.

Just finished my first season of my Euro-Super League with Newcastle in the bottom division of four. Some pics:

Final Table:

My squad on final day:

My tactic, inspired by Ajax/Van Gaal literature:

So we're moving up, Saja (GK) is coming in June to help Tiago out, otherwise, I'm just trying to hold on to Jenas, Milner, Ameobi, Taylor, etc. Christoffer Andersson was the Silver League player of the season, as his 8.00 avg rating attests to. I need cover for the two MC's of the tactic, as Dyer is injured constantly and Bowyer and Jenas may get worn out with an extended cup run, something which I didn't have the first season. Shearer might leave as well, as he doesn't think we can match his demands. Barcelona won the Premier Division by 4 points over second place Arsenal, for what it's worth.
