A question about a soccer rule

say you are a defender or any player for that matter, and you pass the ball back to your goalie using your feet, your goalie is not allowed to pick the ball up right? i know if you head it back to your goalie he can then use his hands and pick it up, but if you kick it back he can't use his hands right? though in pes/we series even if you kick the ball back to your goalie he will sometimes pick it up if the opponents rush him which should not be allowed... correct me if i'm wrong about this

The rule is right, though ive never seen the goalie catch the ball with his hands when you pass it back with the feet. Goalies even use his head for avoiding touch the ball with their hands. I think its correctly implemented in the game.

The rule also says the keeper can pick it up if the ball isnt played on purpose to the keeper. Though i dont think this is implemented in pes, but ive also never seen the keeper picked it up after a backpass.

It does happen, but only when the play back is accidental, although occasionally the animations can make it look intentional. On many occasions the ball has bounched off a defenders leg in the box and gone to the keeper who proceeds to pick it up. But if you actually pass back using the pass button they never will. :jambo:
