Absolutely Shocking Free Kicks In PES6!!! PC

I am finding this game irritating day after day, I am trying my best to pick up the game the only thing good is the passing and shooting, it's realistic, but i have not scored a goal to take off my hat for, even from free kicks i am really really frustrated playing on master league at top level. free kicks are very very hard to perform on the keyboard, all we9le needed was what the improvements on pes6 was, i am waiting for the next release already...in the we arena

With this you have said it all....play with the joypad or buy Fifa...PRACTICE makes PERFECT (like me :sun: )

sorry but PES/WE is for for gamepad, not for keyboard...

Only fifa is adapted to be played with a keyboard...

buy a xbox360 controller for windows, or a PS2 pad with adaptor for USB ports...

I have scored a few nice FK. I feel that it is easy to score from FK than Pes5. IMO :The curl and dip is much more better

Try to get a gamepad and try it out.

How could you pay for PES and not play it with a controller. Thats like paying for a hooker and not getting laid... your money is going to waste.

Yes and we r talking about a good hooker... :chick:

Free kicks were absolute money in the last game, now I cant hit a barn door. Old Jaric bending 25 yarders into either corner have turned to having a free kick with 90+ acc and curl to not getting anywhere near on target.

I guess practice will tell.

Everyone who says PES is for a joy pad is right. And you should at least practice in training.

thanks for the comments i had no problem with we9 le with the keyboard on six stars, but i guess a joypad will help, energia thanks i really aprreciated for what you have done with we9 le with the help ofl yjsym, what a great game that was, the day you wrote that topic about fantastic gameplay really changed everything, i wil now buy a controller thanx.

Is it really that simple?
I think you have to aim the stick down, and then hold either X or triangle button if you want bottom or top spin.

I wasn't very good at freekick in PES5, and I'm still not very good in PES6. In training, with Ronaldhino for example, I can definately hit the goal but I can't score. I've spent a few hours working on this, and I don't seem to be getting any better.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

I usually hold the left stick up and hold the R2 as I power up. Then I jerk the stick down the lower left to aim, and hold X to get the bottom spin on the ball.

Am I doing too much?

Also, I've noticed that if I hold L1 or R1 when the player is in the run up, it will cause the ball to radically slice in the direction the botton.

Wish I could use that to hit the goal.
