Why would you need to point out their skin colour in making an argument on their ability to play football?

Oh, wait, I forgot Shifty's quote about Mississippi...

Also... where in any of quotes am I arguing about their ability to play football? All I stated is that I am confused 1/2 the time on who is playing LB at the time because they both are light skinned blacks... This is what we call in English an ATTRIBUTE that contributes to the problem IE: Me Being Confused. They both are also FAST another ATTRIBUTE that contributes to the problem IE: Me Being Confused, They both are also erratic on Defense which also is a contributing Attribute to me being confused...

So who actually is perpetuating the racism here? Cause my comments have no where near been racists.

You can't tell the difference between one light-skinned black person and another? That's racist, dawg.

C'mon give Tawalkana a break fellas. If you had 2 players on the pitch playing for the same team, and both these players were of similar height and build, and both those players had shaved heads, then I would suppose that it would be likely that I might confuse those two players sometime during the game, especially from a distance.

I've mistaken Malouda for Kalou and visa-versa on a few occassions while in the stands at the Bridge. I've also made a similar mistake while watching a game on TV too. I've never confused Malouda with Lampard though and the reason for that is obvious, Lamps aint black.

So a persons skin colour is definately an attribute that is used to describe that person, whatever his skin colour might be. To do so just cannot be judged as a racist act. Your height, build, hair colour, eyes colour and ethnicity are all used to describe you to others, and there is nothing racist in doing that.

You know by now that I can't tolerate any form of bigotry, and if I thought Tawalkana intended to use skin colour as a put down, then I woulkd have been the first one on his case, but he didn't. He was simply stating that both players physical appearances were similar, including their skin colour.

Tawalkana....I think Az was teasing you mate, and when you came back to defend yourself, he couldn't resist carrying it on. :) I might be wrong but when someone comments "rassist" instead of racist, I think it can be accepted that the remark was made more in humour than anything else.

Anyway just my opinion.

I don't think I was this excited about Arsenal's quality for all of last season. I don't mean to get carried away, I know things could change quickly, but this team is really exciting when their best players are in top form, mainly Van Persie and Fabregas lately.

Cesc is playing better than he ever has, but our star player now is definitely van Persie. I really wanted him to get a goal today but he was unable to score when he tried to round Hennessey. Today we did not start out well but were still able to get 4 goals.
The thing that struck me today though was when we brought on Nasri & Rosický...talk about a solid bench :D! After the Intl. break we then should have Theo & Bendtner back, plus Nasri should be fully fit all in time for...Chelsea:sKIp_E:.

The hell is wrong w/ Chiellini!. Seems like RVP is gonna be Robin van Recuperate for some time now :(...hope he makes the Spartak London game .

I don't think that Chiellini meant it. He went for the ball and was a bit unlucky to catch Robin's ankle in the process.
