yeah, this time last year they were in the relegation zone, right? but they impressively climbed to the top half of the table before the winter break ... anyway, my point that it is unlikely they will make it to the semis still stands ...

they are really amazing, all of their players are made in home.

haha, noo, they use to steal osasuna players (david lopez, javi martinez,muñoz, orbaiz) of the line up only Amorebieta, Iraola, Yeste and Llorente are made in Lezama, not sure about Aitor ocio.

they only allow players from Euskal Herria (the Basque country) to play for their team ... that's good in one way, but could also be construed as racist / jingoist ... doesn't bother me though ...

and they are out of the cup ... not a surprise ...

You do remember that the last foreign player they had on their team (French defender Bixente Lizarazu) was threatened by ETA for giving money to their cause.

I attended a charity for special kids today and Messi's pictures and posters with some of those kids were everywhere.

Lizarazu is from the Bask France, can play in Athletic.

so, Arnau addressed the first issue of him being "foreign" -- he's not Spanish, but he is Basque, so he's not a foreigner in the eyes of the club ...

the second issue is that he was threatened by the ETA because he did NOT give money (which they felt was due) to them ...

in a year, not a season ... unless, of course, the treble is repeated ... but that is far too far away to be making declarations about ...

so, yeah, many teams have won 5 (some including the traditional treble, some not); 6 in a year would unprecedented though ... but there is no need to jump the gun just yet ...

Although they didn't made the draw, they show that you guys will meet alcorcon next round.

Imagine Madrid defeating Alcorcon and then a tennis double in 1/16

but it is not like this.
they wrote the draw,and someone thought that winners of match 1 will play winners match 2.
The 1/16 finals have not been drawn.

I don't think this is doable for us. Those are the burdens we had to carry in 06-07 and we failed. Miserably. I'd be happy with the league and the Club world championship. I desperately want that trophy, we haven't won it yet as you say.

btw, I can't wait for Inter Milan to come to Camp Nou. It's going to be an awesome game. They're defensively a compact unit, Mourinho is their coach, we can both go through or get eliminated... it has the makings of a mouth-watering encounter. And after that, you kno what... what a week it will be. We'll see just how motivated our boys are in those two games.
