Multiplayer Direct IP?

How many people with FIFA 10 PC play online through Multiplayer Direct IP? How is the online experience?
Is it possible to play online through direct ip with mods installed? created teams? ai.ini and common.ini modifications?
Has anyone tried this? wouldn't both players have to have identical ai.ini files for it to work?

I do play it online through Direct IP, it works fine but i'll depend on both your ISP stability and your opponent's, I have played several matches with no problems at all, I use the creation master and FHL patcher and I haven't had any problem at all but I mostly change kits, balls and shoes , there was only 1 time the game wouldn't connect because I replaced 1 of the teams I created with 1 from a league using creation master, all I did to fix it was replace the team back to the original and it worked fine, I guess that was because the other player didn't have the same teams.

ai.ini and common.ini modifications?

yeah I think that should work, I have even copied the whole fifa 10 folder to another pc and it worked :D

Awesome. Thanks so much for letting me know. If you ever would like to try playing FIFA 10 PC online let me know. I have some enhanced ai.ini parameters and would love to test these values with someone online. Playing online could make it easier to find optimal values.
