Tottenham Hotspur "Spurs" Thread [2012/2013]

After the fabulous 3-0 win against City, my bet for this year did it again, and they've did it as a great team.Spurs won 2-0 at Blackburn and now they are the main favorites for the 4-th place.

Crouch scored twice in 45+2 and 83 but the most important thing is that they've played very well and it's good that Kranjcar,Defoe,Keano and Crouch are all scoring, one by one.City and Villa won their games aswell, which makes this year tournament very attractive and interesting.Cheers

I'm pretty sure Palacios will ship out to a bigger club this summer. The guy is great!

I'm more concerned about losing Lennon, as I have been for about two seasons now. I think either Man Utd, Chelsea or Man City, perhaps even all will make a bid for him in the summer.

Tottenham-Hull-0-0, and Myhill definetely deserves a good salary raise after today saves.:icon_spin:
Also,Spurs really needs a new central midfielder, for Huddlestone it's too much.Dissapointing....

Myhill's magnificent performance, saved 11 shots on target and this match was Redknapp's 500th premier game as a manager.

what happened after 3-0 win against City, overconfidence?

Did anyone noticed that Spurs plays better when Modric is out? unfortunately, cause he is a great player.Sir Harry didn't found the right place for Luka in the midfield, yet. When he will, there will be harsh times for all the EPL teams. But till then, i quess is better to play just with one of them(Kranjcar or Modric) not both.
As i've said before, they badly need a man to replace Tommy Huddlestone, too.

PS.I was really impressed about Bale! What a player he will be....

Totteham-Hull-0-0, this really doesn't sounds very promising.Waiting for Spurs to win against Fulham next week.Hopefully !

one of those rare times I am looking forward to a Premiership match, thanks wholly to Raffie ... seeing Bale would be a decent bonus too, I suppose; he's definitely got tekkers ... hope tomorrow's match is a cracker, and makes the occasion worthy ...

won't bother watching FSC's pre-match and half-time panel discussions though; Warren Barton's disgustingly blinding ignorance is too revolting to put up with ...

And with his weaker foot too!

I'm so happy with the way Raffie's performing at Spurs at the moment. Another talent almost wasted by Real, but not quite.

If you think about it: Wes is the leading star of European Champions Inter, Robben is for Champions League finalist Bayern, Klaas is scoring on a regular basis for Schalke, RvN is still doing his thing at HSV, Drenthe is having an impressive comeback at Hercules Alicante and Rafael is the star of the show week in week out for Tottenham. Talking about wasting (Dutch) talent.

Raffie was a loyal servant and fought well last year, that being said he was poor when his wife was going thru the cancer bouts, gladly for him and her she recovered.

Robben was injured 60% of time he played for us, althought I think we should have kept him.

Huntelaar wasnt given enough time, but when you lose 2-6 to Farca at home heads had to roll...(he also failed miserably at Milan)

Wesley (a personal favorite) was known as 'Wiskey Sneijder' in Madrid, due to his constant heavy drinking result of failed personal relationship...

Drenthe...lol....If any of the dutchies was given a chance it was this lad, and he really squadered it. Lots of heart, some talent, just cant handle the pressure of the Bernabeu, Hercules is a small club and he does well there, good for him, we should have never bought him IMO.

Right and wouldn't it be Real's fault then that they never performed as good as they now show they can? Also, apart from Drenthe whose on loan, Real sold all those players for about half the price they bought them for. That's hilarious IMO. Not only wasting talent but also money.

Oh c'mon everyone knows they were ushered out because the Real board wanted the likes of Ronaldo, Kaka etc. to play instead of them, not because of personal situations in the player's life.

They were given less than 2 years to prove their worth which is not enough. Also, instead of helping them out with their difficulties, RM decided to sell and replace them.

Had RM been more patient, they would've flourished there.
