Well I thought I'd have a go at moving into the world of Fifa editing but it appears far too complicated. There are some amazing tutorials out there by the likes of duoro10 but while chaning kits is doable, changing faces is almost impossible it seems.

I can create faces using facegen following duoro10s youtube tuts. But when I import them into 3ds max it looks nothing like his, seems like nothing is editable.

When i export the cff i get a a runtime error about how the Tvertex is out of range.

Even if it did work, when I try to use jor1980's cyberface converter (despite installing every version of slimdx under the sun) i cannot import cffs because they're not an option, you click on import cff and only rx3 files are selectable! I cannot find anyone else who has this problem.

If anyone has any advice on how to solve any of my multitude of problems then please help, I am greatly in need.......:clapwap:

thanks for the response regularcat, I have made some progress, turns out I had to uncheck the flip zy axis box when importing the obj file created by facegen but I'm still getting that runtime error when exporting the cff. Am hoping duoro10 might be able to shed some light on it.

Haven't got a clue how I'm going to fix this problem with jor1980s cyberfaces converter, running vista I cannot get it to work no matter how many slimdx packs i install.

Edit: Right, solved part of the problem but now I get an "unhandled exception: object reference not set to an instance of an object". I'm assuming (hoping) this is because my exported cff from 3ds is dodgy as mentioned above.

I thought i'd reply for people that stumble upon this thread and have the same problem:
I had some trouble exporting .cff files as well, this was mainly in blender (python script errors kept bugging me).
I downloaded a 3ds max trial version, that combined with the import and export scripts supplied by the cyberface converter generated .cff files for me that could be converted to rx3 and subsequently used in fifa by adding them to the game (either through CM13 or revolution mod, both work).

Also, to refer to your earlier problem of ''tvertex out of range'', that problem is caused by not deleting the du_oro meshes for the head and eyes before exporting your head model.
