Sorry, but i do not agree about that
If H and L are too low, the CPU will always try to "parking the bus", near the box..
The defense moves back too much and midfield is yours...
First, I don't share ideas to argue if they work or not. Honestly, that's why I never share my mods, every time I do, the person writes back and says something like, "That doesn't work" or "This isn't very good." Okay great... nonetheless it works for ME and it's good for ME. That's all I care about. Another example: I mentioned my long shot editing fix a while ago, someone responded and said people won't use it because it's unrealistic. Unrealistic for whom? And why should I even care about something like that? I edit the game so it works for me, period. I don't care if people use my ideas, or if they think my ideas are good or bad or realistic or unrealistic. I throw out ideas for people to try or not try, that's all. No two people will ever agree on what's best, and everyone has their own subjective idea about what realistic means.
Anyway, you say the defense plays park the bus. But IMO, when you lower line sliders like that, the defense finally plays realistically. Default FIFA is set up to have wide open games and to make it easy to score goals. That's why the CPU never has more than 4 or 5 players back defending. But in real life, teams have 7, 8 or even 9 players coming back to defend. When you lower line sliders, CPU teams' defensive setup looks and plays like real-life teams' defensive setup... IMO. Regardless, one thing it absolutely does do, is help with the poor CPU defense issue. The more CPU defenders, the tougher it is to break through the defense and get a shot away.
But again, it's all about the individual and how they play the game, and what they want from the game. I play on Pro, manual settings, 15 minute halves. My games all end up 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, with 6-12 shots per team after a half hour of playing. There's not a lot of action in my games... just like real football. I walk the ball around the pitch half the game, I don't run end to end. I don't take advantage of the CPU defense. I build play up and let the CPU position themselves properly. But I've also made changes to the game that help fix the CPU defense as well. Everybody plays the game differently, so it's impossible to come up with fixes that everyone will want to use.
