CM on PS2

Why there is no Championship Manager on Playstation2?It whould sell more peaces than it did on X-BOX!This is surely!Just think how many people have Playstation2,and how many have X-BOX!I have loved Championship Manager from my PC,but now it's so old that i can't play that game.On Playstation2 there is only LMA,which i played once,and i promised to myself that i won't touch it again!If CM comes to PS2,it will be selling like crazy!Thank you very much!

hmm, you have a point mate - why do they release it for the XBOX and not the PS2, i dont know one person who has a XBOX, yet pretty much.... no, everyone i know has a PS2. Bad business from SI in my view.

On the other hand, X-Box is a much more powerfull console, so I think a good CM game for PS2 would be very hard.

I don't think the PS2 could handle the sheer enormity of the CM database. The Xbox is twice as powerful as the PS2, yet SI had to make huge downgrades on the database and overall playing time.

Well there are many reasons for this one, Like Alex said,
XBOX is more powerful than PS2

XBOX - 733 Mhz Processor
20GB Internal Hard Disk
nVidia graphics card

PS2 - 294 Mhz Processor
32 MB RAM
8MB Memory Card

So as you can see the XBOX is allot more powerful and allot more suited to the game, You couldn't even fit a CM game on a memory card seeing as the average CM saved game is 20MB in the first season.

Its because of the hard drive, like Vegeta said the save games are to big for those crappy PS2 memory cards

yup, last i heard....... SI said they won't be considering this at all until Ps2 gets a hard drive

but, think that scrolling through the menus with a console controller would take away from the game

I think 8 GB is enough

i remember ages ago they were gonna make a cm for the ps1..............but it was gonna be one where all the players were classic players like pele and banks etc.........

it was cancelled in the end for some reason or another!
