    Has anyone had luck running any of the PES or WE series with cedega or wine on a linux platform ? Cedega is able to install PES5 alright, but needs some hacking to get the game running though. Wine doesn't result any better. If you have any insightful community information about this please...

    yeah, I'm aware of that. Popular titles are ported as backwards compatable and I bet WE9 will fall on that category sooner or later. I'm really just interested about the region stuff. Does somebody know if WE9 is region locked? Not all Xbox games are. And do european retailers get WE9 aswell?

    I sent one aswell. They're usually very fast with popular titles. Although I'm afraid of slowdowns which are present in Ninja Gaiden Black and Jade Empire ports/profiles..

    90 degree turns on PES5

    I'm having hard time to get used with so called "auto-sidestepping" feature which pes5 brought along. Imo it's damn annoying feature, but it seems it can't be turned off anyhew..? Would be excellent game without this.

    crossbars, posts, yeah I agree. My record is with Bellamy, hitting almost eight shots on posts alone in one game. After that he was transferred to Celtics :p But I guess it's there to make game exiting and without screwing the 'balance'. It's not realistic, but I guess it's supposed to be...

    my first impressions of we8I compared to pes4 +overall controller response feels better. I was occasionally fustrated with pes4 and my ps2->pc controller +some nice volleys happened during my last three games. dunno if konami has tweaked this a bit, but ppl know how ofter volley ends...

    basically it makes shotbar go too high second time and eventually ball over the net.

    in PES3 & WE7, after shot feint powerbar was instantly reset. in PES4, if you try shooting after a feint, powerbar will continue increasing from the state it left before. is it "new" behaviour on PES4, 'cuz it's kinda annoying..
