00/01 Team Swap Editor ?

I recently downloaded the team swap editior but I just can't get it to work.....everytime I load the league ( MLS )...it gives me an error message during the loading of the league.

Obviously I am doing something wrong... I've tried to follow the simple four step directions given with the Read Me file...but I think I am missing some key step(s).

I'm pretty basic with my knowledge of computers so if someone could explain to me in a step by step way, I;ll gladly send you some MLS stuff I have laying around my house.

I think I'm supposed to take out a few exe. files but I am pretty lost when it comes to this stage.

Or is it that it's impossible to switch around MLS teams ?

Well I haven't used the TeamSwap editor for aages now, but a few basic steps you need to do are:

• Extract all the files in the zip archive to your hard disk drive. A good place to put it is in your CM directory (usually CProgram Files\Championship Manager 01-02\), but do not overwrite any existing files.
• Run the program and load up the neccessary data files (found in your CM data directory, ie CProgram Files\Championship Manager 01-02\Data\).
• Swap the team(s) you want, and save changes.
• Close the editor and start a new game in CM.

This should work ok, but if you have any more problems it might be because your data files have become curropted. If this is the case, then it's best to re-install CM and start afresh with the original data files.
