2 controllers listed when there is only one (PC)

Hi, I just got Fifa 08 for the PC and when I used my joytech control pad, and I use the pad, it lists two players for one controller. When I'm playing the game, I'm controlling two players at the same time, and both players basically mimic each other. Is there a way to stop this?

Ye its cause one of ur controllers is ur keyboard. U have to put ur keyboard in the middle zone. When u chose the contorller and the team.

Are these Xbox (360) controllers?? If so I believe this is a known issue but not having one of those controllers I'm unsure as to whether or not there is an official fix (perhaps check out the official EA UK forums??)
