a question about network gameplay

i'm planning 2 play a cm over network with my friends and i have a very important question
do both players play at the same time during the management stuff etc
or everyone on his turn just like 2 players on the same pc?
plz help

You both do your managing at the same time, when you are done with your turn, you press continue and if your friend isn't done, it will wait for him. If he is done, then it will continue like a normal game.
