I'm stuck. I've started a game as Nagoya Grampus Eight in the J1 League and have been played through half the season and am in the second stage.

I've got about 6 players whose contracts are up within 6 months and while I don't mind losing half of them there are 2 I definately want to keep. 3 have already been poached, one I'm letting go out of choice but I've Tarik Oulida (LW) and Ueslei (F) who are also up and open for offers, and are irreplaceable with my current squad.

Problem is the board won't cough up enough cash for me offer them a contract with wages that are anywhere near what they are on now (£7,000pw board will allow £4,300pw). I've stuck a load of players on the market, including my star striker who wants to 'move to a bigger club' but isn't scoring enough chances anyway and can't shift any of them. I've asked the board but don't want to give them an ultimatum because I've not proved myself yet.

If they go for nothing they are worth over £1.5m each. I can't put them up for sale because no-ones going to pay now that they can get them for free.

Anyone got any tips on how to make some quick money?

Try setting the players to indespesible to the club.....then you might get more money for wages

Once you put them to indispensible and you still can't offer enough every week, compensate by giving them top bonuses too. This adds to the package and if it meets their requested wage or something close to, they will sign

u can do this which will surely work. first give him the offer u can give and make raise the bonuses put a high release clause fee and make it a one year contract they will definetly sign.

this can be a good idea if you're buying someone, and knowone else is intrested, so you have a lot of time: First, say if they are wanting 70k, offer them 30k, and they reject, but if you do this again, they often lower what they wanted. I f they are not intrested at all, then do what everyone lese has said, thats pretty much all you can do!!

GOMEZ.
