Well this is the first user impression I've read on the subject, from another forum:

"I have played every fifa made. I like them just fine. The CPU ai in this mode on world class with no slider help is ludicrous. My CPU ai is awful. The CPU opponent is amazing. The ball is magnetized to their foot. They hit quick pinpoint passes all over the pitch with deadly accuracy and they all race up to support the ball making exquisite runs. The CPU is godlike and my players are idiots. Simple as that. Fifa has done this kind of ai before but this is the worst in terms of being unbalanced." ~ BL8001

Not end of game AI cheating, but if the above nonsense is still in the game and worse than ever, then no doubt the end of game stuff is as well.
