it works on mine i have a nyko airflow and it works so maybe it dosnt recognize that analog hopefully that new controller fix thread can help ya out

thanks for the replies iv looked at the thread given but my pad is not listed iv also tried to configer by changing the devdata method dont know if you know about this ?
but dont understand what this guy means by window registry is he on about regedit?

It wouldn't recognize my right joystick, so what I did was, edit the windows registry and replace every key that had the name of my gamepad with the name of trustmaster 3.2 (it seemed to be the most similar to mine), and then in my documents\fifa06\data\user in the devdata file i replaced all the 3 lines with the 3 lines of axis pad that appears in the beggining of this file.

Then voilá, configure the controlers on fifa and let's play !

I found a nice prog that lets you map any key of the keyboard (or the mouse) to the controller buttons (d-pad, analog sticks etc.) infact you can even play Counter Strike with a controller now ( I know it's not better than mouse+keyboard but just as an example) it's a free trial version of 30 days and is called Pinnacle Game Profiler, definately worth a try

i am so lost to, i have a ps2 controller but it aint an official one, my pc regocnises it as a usb joypad, i dnt no wot to do at all, i cant play full strength without the right anolog

I have a PS2 controller and I already got windows to recognize it, but I still can't get the right analog stick to work. Just no fun without it. If anyone has a solution to this problem, it'd be much appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks. Works great now. I used it before and it didn't work properly. But since you got it to work, I thought I'd give it another try. All it took was renaming the name of the controller to fit the config. I don't know how I missed that. Thanks a bunch. ;)

it dnt make any sense, my right anolog works with pro evo 5 on my pc??? y is fifa being gay with stuff :(
im jut gonna buy official ps2 dual shock pad, the manual says that will work

Get the controller and literally LAUNCH it at the wall and chances are the right stick will hit a diferent position each time and have the player perform a whole crazy combination of moves...........DO IT!

Nah mate, all-in-all it's just practice and guess work!

if they had this problem with fifa than why the hell wouldnt they fix it for this rather than having a 3rd party do it blows my mind, thier pretty good with patches for other ea sport titles.
