ARGH! Need help with MCM 03/04 [return of the injury bug]

I recently downloaded the real time editor MCM 03/04, for 4.1.5 (my version of the game). Yet I cannot load my games (and yes CM is running, and I have tried starting a new game with 4.1.5 that does not work either). Can anyone help? Should I Re-download?





The reason I am trying to use MCM4 is that my game has seen the return of the injury bug. Late in my second season (now off seaosn at the start of the third) in 90% of matches I get at least one injury. I have had three "2 month torn groin muscles" ala CM4 style. I decided I would fix this bug via an editor (reasonably of course), and in general I wanted to have a look this editor.

the MCM forums explain this, unfortunatly SI released 2 versions of 4.1.5, the first of which works fine with the new MCM. However, the second of which doesnt cos SI thought it would be a good idea to change the version number on that one, so you will probably have to wait a bit until MCM release a corrective fix.

"There seems to be some troubles with 4.1.5 and MCM 0.3.3
Main reason for this is :
SI released 4.1.5 on 2/3/2004 and made a new 4.1.5 on 5/3/2004
This of course is typical for SI, they dont understand the use of version numbers!
(check out the version number of the exe, in cm4 this was ok, in cm0304, all exe's are version 4.1.0.0)
(another example : remember the version that came only with the magazine?)

So there are 2 versions of 4.1.5 and MCM 0.3.3 does only support the first one for now!
We will try to make the second one also work ASAP...
But we all are very busy at the moment so it will take some days

Its been a few days, go to www.mindcompression.com, you'll see that they've released 3.0.5 which is compatible with both releases from SI.

MCM 0.3.5 is out now, that works with the latest 4.1.5 and i THINK it fixes the bug where MCM 03 04 doesnt work if you've installed the Super Pack or Face Pack addons for CM 03 04, but i haven't actually tested this yet.



oops didnt see you actually pretty much wrote the same thing at the end of your last post Trod, sorry bout that!
