Thuringowa Rebels vs South West Eagles

6 days ago we played the team that's in second place (we are 4th, 4pts behind them). South West Eagles...
They've got this mother****er that will play for the Queensland U-17s or something.. Jesus, I ******* swear, that guy is good. And I (R was supposed to stop him..

but well...
in the first 30 minutes they scored 3 goals against us. Two of them scored by the good ****er. At the end of the first half it started to rain and around the 45th minute they scored another goal. We were ****ed. I really don't know what the hell happened but the second half started and we completely dominated the first 10 minutes. After 15 minutes, we scored. It was 4-1. heh... We were all playing really good but wtf..we were gonna lose. 5 minutes later, we scored another goal. 4-2. We were like.. 'cool...'. Then, like 10 minutes later, we scored out 3rd. The game was so ******* dramatic at that time rain, one goal behind. Then, theres this ball coming directly towards me so i took it. I ran through the field leaving one behind, cross the ball (perfectly) and 'pook'... Goal 4-4. At that moment, both teams were playing really good. 50-50 possesion and all that ****. Ten minutes left and the ****heads scored. Who scored? The good ****head... (at least it wasn't my fault). Then, two minutes later we score again! (hat-trick for one of my friends). For the last 8 minutes we all gave our ******* best. 5 all it ended.

I've had many many good games before, but I'll never forget this one

I haven't had any ridiculous fun actual matches, I remember one though, not because we did well, but because I scored a beautiful own goal. Some guy launched a shot from a little outside the box and it smacked into my head and into the net.

I remember we played this team a few years ago. We were losing 4-0, then we scored twice in the first 2 minutes of the second half. Amazingly, we scored twice more in the last 5, yes 5 minutes and forced extratime. Then we got a freekick in the last minute of extratime. Guess who scored the winning goal? Yours truly Best game, ever.

My last game in high school (if we had won we would have gone to the State Championships) we lost 5-4, we were down something like 3-0 after the first twenty minutes because we finally played a team good enough to capitalize on the fact that our coach was playing the FAR worse keeper for the last month of the year. All three were headers (our defense was REALLY good). We came roaring back and made it 3-2, but then when all of us were up on attack they hit us back on a 1 on 1 with the keeper. Then we kept pressing and got a penalty with 2 minutes left and scored it. But unfortunately we couldn't get the final one. The most heartbreaking game of my life and the last match (non intramural) that I've played. We should have won, ******* dumbass coach playing that retard of a goal keeper. As an aside that keeper didn't even play soccer the next year, he played football instead.

I also play for my school team but we got eliminated...

I also retired from soccer when i was in Nicaragua...
everybody at school played like ******* sinoes (do u remember that guy? ) so it was not even worth it

I think that the best game I had with our original team back in Nicaragua was against CentroAmerica I think. Can't remember if u were there or not. We musta've lost by 3 or 4 goals though...

my best game was a few days ago actually, my coach benched me cause he don't think i'm good enough, I came on when there where 30 min left of the second half and scored a hatrick. yaay

The most satisfying game I ever played was when we only had 9 players (yes 9, about 7 guys were injured/ill etc, then all the back up ones also couldn't make it.). We were playing a team who beat us at home when we had 11 players. So basically you would think we would lose. It was the coldest day I have ever played on (I'm in England by the way, so probably -7 degrees C or something like that). Anyway, I then got injured (my foot), but I couldn't come off, we only had 9 players anyway, so I had to keep playing. And when you get injured and you are that cold it's even worse. Also, I was playing up front alone, and the coach was telling me to run so much I could hardly breathe (again, the air was so cold I was just generally in pain).

Anyway, the defense and midfield were doing great, we had 4 in defense and 3 in midfield who were all basically defending and the launching it up front for me to run, and I couldn't hardly run anyway since I was cold, knackered and injured. Our only attacks were from the wingers occasionally making some ground or me winning a free kick. So mid way through the second half I win a free kick about 45 yards out. The guy takes it, and just launches it in to the box. Somehow there was a goalmouth scramble and I poked it home Van Nistelrooy style.

Then later on I go to control a long pass, and it is late in the game. At this stage I'm so cold because I was too tired to run as much, and I basically can't move and I am trying to battle with the defender as well.
...The ball comes down fast from about 50 yards away and hits me straight in the balls. WORST PAIN EVER. I was so cold and tired at this point, and in that kind of temperature, you can not imagine being hit in the nuts. I was absolutely paralized and spent ages lying on the floor in agony (whilst I guess everyone else laughed at me).

So now imagine the state im in: I am so cold and I havn't even been moving for ages that I am completely numb. I can't feel my hands or my feet, except in one foot there is a kind of numb, debilitating cramp like pain. My groin and nuts hurt awfully in the freezing+pain kind of way.

At this stage it is the last few minutes and I am standing doing literally nothing wanting the game to end, whilst their team attacks trying desperately to score to make it 1-1. Because they are so desperate to score, and I am so crippled, the defenders leave me on the halfway line and go to attack because they won a corner. The corner gets cleared out and I am free. In a normal situation it's just a 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper, and you expect to score.

In this situation, I set off after the ball ''running'' as fast as I can. I must have been going so slowly, it felt like slow motion. I take a first touch like a donkey and set off after the ball (remember it's so cold and I can't feel my feet). I eventually reach the ball and punt it forward again. (the defense at this stage is running back since they see how slow I am). This second touch takes it close enough that the keeper can come out for the ball. He decides to come for it, and speeds out to the edge of the area. I am trying so hard to run and feeling like such a 'tard, and it looks like he will get it. In a desperate lunge, I dive with my right foot at the ball, and try to stab it over him. It just goes over his legs, but it is SO slow that their defenders nearly get back to stop it before it rolls over the line.

So we won 2-0 and I scored a ridiculous 3 touch goal from the halfway line as a complete cripple, and we only had 9 players against a good team.

It's not the game where I played best, but where I felt really really bad during and after the game and we only had 9 players and all tried so hard to win, that it was the best game. Hopefully at least one person bothers reading this, I apologise for the length but their was a lot of detail.
