Black screen and then to desktop

Ok so i have the black screen and then to desktop but i have a error stating fifa07.exe has encoutered problems and had to close.
I have tried reinstalling 3 times. I have tried 3 pc's and the one with Win 2k worked the two with Sp3 xp are doing the same thing.

So computer stats
Ati 8.3 Catilyst (tried the newest with same result)
Ati driver for hd2600 (500 mb ram)
System ram 1gig
Proc speed 1.6
Xp pro sp3
Direct x Fully updated and all windows updates current.

I want to play this game with my bro so please any sugestions

Ps. I looked for 2 hours before posting with no solution ?
