i find these 2 files in data>db>700>edt in which say that i as manager can be a chairman of some club ... i edit them both but still i doesnt become (im started 3rd season) ... btw. there was some board takeover but i wasnt even close, they doesnt even say my name

My understanding is that this doesnt make you the actual Chairman, just makes the Chairman who takes over, have your name, DOB etc...

Scorpion, you might be better asking this at the official forums down at www.sigames.com - it's quite an indepth problem you have so they can probably help better.

Hehe, I do loads of editing, and stuffing around with FM..And honestly, if you could actually 'be' the chairman, don't you think more people would know about it?...Especially at the above file that Scorpion has quoted is installed with the game...

Ive made other people take over clubs using the command...I got a few millionares to buy clubs in the A-League etc...When it says 'make yourself chairman' it means your name, and DOB etc...Not giving you any control as Chairman

if the syntax is correct (tbh cant be arsed checking) I think you have to wait until there is actually a board takeover in order to see someone with your name as chairman.

Alex and Alex are both right. You don't become the actual chairperson, but the in-game chairperson will get your personal details. And you do indeed need to use the correct short name for your country where they ask you to type the nationality.

And of course you have to use "Croatia", not "Croatian"...Whilst it does say nationality, it means the country of your nationality, which is indicated by the use of England This would be how the DB links it with the nation. Just by its short name, which is like the Nations title field...

Even so, I dont like the idea of making myself chairman...Otherwise there would be two me's in the game. Me as manager, then the me I dont control, as chairman somewhere...

i was thinking that this will maybe help me in leading my club becouse i sometimes get offers for players and my chairman accepts them even i could get atleast twice as more then the offer was

btw. do i need to change and the date of birth, becouse fm doesnt reckons 1987, when i start the game it changes it to some random year

Yeah, you dont actually become the chairman...

As for changing 1987, that is because FM has a minimum age for you as a manager...
