Can you get points for winning a cup in tourney mode?

if you go to tournement mode and play for, say, the austrian bundes liga cup, if the team you pick to play happens to come in first, does that count as a challenge finished and points awarded, or is it only in manager mode?

i've tried to find out on my own twice, only to come in second and third. so now i'm asking.

yeah it counts, which is why if your lazy you can just transfer the World XI sqaud to your team and simulate the season and still win it all :kader: , to reiterate, yeah it does count
