Career Mode - Champions league

I wondered if it is possible to get the UEFA cup and champions league to schedule in the first season of career mode. I've tried removing the "qualify from previous season" flags in CM09. Is there anything else I could try ?

if you remove the flag you play champions league in the first season. i have just tried it

hmm may not queue right for me as ive edited the database with new leagues perhaps. Ill try a fresh db.

sorry but with a fresh install of FIFA09 and removing the "qualify from previous season" flags from the tournements doesn't make them playable in the first season of career mode.

Removing flag to "qualify from previous season" is not only wrong, but nonsense. To see the ECC and EFA in the first year you have only to edit the tournament id (the id on the left of CM table) and put a number less than 95. This is enough. However it's very dangerous to put european cups in the first year because you seriously risk to be wrong qualified for the second season: you can be either in ECC and EFA at the same time or be in 2 different groups of ECC. I strongly reccomend to wait for a tool called Calendar Patch 09 that will add the actual Champions League to the first year without having these problems

I have a similar problem- well, the problem is that without messing with first season qualification, I have ended up playing in both tournaments. The positive side is that I get to play in both tournaments, the negative side is that I have to play in both tournaments. I don't mind doing it for one season, but how do I fix it so it doesn't repeat every season (I'm in my second season)? Having made some nioce transfer coups, I'm loathe to restart and even less impressed with the idea of reinstalling. The only patches I have are monkey dragon's sound, lighting, cinematics and I changed the music tracks with fifa09 music changer. Play has been slightly buggy, but I've either fixed that or gotten used to it, can't tell. Is reinstalling my only option (discarding patches)? I tried simply deleting the monkey dragon stuff but that doesn't uninstall it (neither does add or remove programs) so how to fix?
