Conference League over European Supercup?

Hello to everybody,is it possible in your opinion create a new cup (similar to Confederence League) editing the European Supercup with CM14? I haven't any mod installed,only edits by my own with CM14.

For edits by my own,working in carreer mode. I tried many times these days and finally I got something,I'll post some pics next days. I don't know how to do other way,I know scwitching ids for leagues,but I don't know how create cups.

Try to duplicate some Cup already in game, change ID's and modify rather than creating new ones.

I tried without success,so I edited a cup. I choose the Supereuropean cup because i don't mind about,and it's the only one European for clubs without national teams. The problem is to let choose the game a team with position under the Euro League,but I found a way. I'll explain next days,perhaps it's something already known, I hope it could be useful however.

Ok, I don't have much free time, but I'll explain the first step I found.
Pic 1: First of all we have to change the Supercup into CUP, in this option window.
Pic 2: add 2 options, change the first 1 in S1 and cancel the original final option only after all the changes, or the game will crash! I think probably could be not necessary if you respect the correct order (I mean S1 should be a sequence of all the following steps)
Pic 4 (I missed number 3,eh eh) and 4bis: create G1 and G2 in the first option, then choose the option "X best teams of a trophy", I chose random positions.
Pic 5: edit the second option for final, put the option like the arrows (in the black one choose FINAL) and copy/create calendar.
Pic 6: last step, in G1 choose the two teams selecting the exact position, like in picture. Pay attention to G1 and G2!!

This is,as I said, a first option I found, don't know if already used in some patch. I'll imagine next weeks (probably next year beacuse I got very few time) to create 8 groups of 4 teams (like Champions League) and create the cup step by step. The only sad thing is to do the qualifications rules 1 by 1,so it will be a little long, but I don't care. Don't think however should create problems if done in the correct way. I don't know if this could work with every patch. I've done edits by my own, that are:
- 4 lower Italian leagues switching ids,
- about 50 European teams (I've plan to add about 20 teams) in two groups with random ids, like ROTW, but I'll edit existing leagues to make also these teams playable in Carreer Mode,
- all edit made by CM14

If someone discover something new or can use this let us know!

I am in love with Rome since i was a kid, Calcio was very popular all over the world the strongest league at the time, a lot of people from Serbia cheer for Italian teams and also visiting games from time to time.

shoneroma thank you all of you, I knew italian teams are popular also outside Italy, but didn't imagine so much. I'm Juventus'supporter, but also like city of Rome and his club and obviously loved Totti!!
I tried changing date but always crash before daymatch. Instead no crashes if it's not your selected team to qualify. For now I'm stucked here,hope I'll found a solution,don't know. I hope this could be however useful to somebody for something.

Hey, my friend, I think what I was trying to get was are you trying to create the UEFA Europa Conference League? If so you didn't need to replace the Supercup and your current method will not work as you might expect. What will happen is that you will have teams in either the Champions League or the Europa League as well as this new cup you created. You also will have the problem that the Europa League needs to be modified to reduce groups and to fix the issue of correct qualification. None of this matters if you just want another European competition, but if you want the UECL then this isn't going to work.
It's complicated to explain, but it will be in the new FIP mod.

The original question of the thread was to understand if this thing could be possible or it's a mess up and it's better leave away. So I tried, I think something could work, but I know I need also the time and some tests to see if the whole cup can work.
By the way I can say some interesting things:
- there is the possibility to have the same team in two competitions, UCL or Euro cup AND Conference League. In fact initially I got this thing, then I found the possibility to take the exact team at the exact position (as I posted), this avoid the possibility to have a team in more than one cup, obviously doing all in the correct way.
- there's a little Euro cup problem: if one of the teams (should be who won the national cup) go in Champions League, doing the Conference in this way could block the position and the system can't go over to find an other team, this thing block the Euro cup (I hope it's clear, sorry for English). I think and hope to avoid this problem deleting the "winner national cup" qualification rule (I don't care about it) and edit the Euro Cup qualifications rules to have an exact number of teams without the need to go over or pick random teams. I'll also add other new created european teams to pick up teams from through the "get teams from a League" qualification rule, this rule take the missing teams (any number) from that League. I could also try to create other European mixed leagues for this, I'll see. I think and hope this should work without crash or messing up, but I need to try,obviously.
If someone know any other way please tell, this is the easiest way I found in little time to try edit UEFA Europa Conference League by my own.

Thank you, I'll check it. An other reason I'm trying doing this is I don't know and don't want to edit compdata or something similar, I just want to edit with CM14, even if it's not perfect, but for me it's enough if it works without crashing.

I think what I was trying to get was are you trying to create the UEFA Europa Conference League?
