Crash to desktop before game load

Can I please get some advise from someone? I have seen all the posts and none have been replied to...

These are my specs...

Microsoft Windows XP
Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.60 GHz
1.59 GHz, 256 MB of RAM

Could anyone just tell me how to solve this? I just got this from my friend and am very eager to play this but just cant get past loading screen. It automatically crashes to desktop after a while in the loading screen, would someone please advise me on what to do...
